Mission Statement

The Department of Chemistry and Environmental Science seeks to provide quality undergraduate and graduate education in the areas of chemistry and the environmental sciences. We are dedicated to quality classroom education. Classroom instruction is not independent of academic and scholarly research. We strive to provide exciting and challenging ideas to our students through active participation in field research and publication of scholarly activity.
