The mission of the Department of Computer Sciences/Computer Information Systems is to provide learning and research of the highest standards that can impact and benefit society. We strive to create high quality graduates with sufficient breadth and depth for immediate employment in a wide range of careers in computer science and computer information systems. We also emphasize outstanding research as the bridge to convey ideas that create state of the art knowledge in theoretical and applied computing.
